Most of the students and early career scholars asserted that academic writing posed challenges. It is said that motivation is an essential attribute writers must possess to enhance their academic writing. Lack of motivation to develop academic writing skills can hinder them from acquiring the necessary skills. 

Writers’ motivation for academic writing was the most important, with the highest mean. In addition, learning styles and strategies, study behavior or study habits, difficulty managing time, and inadequate and poor-quality learning materials exert an influence on academic writing performance. 

We will help those who want to strengthen their professional skills in journalism as well as their academic writing skills. 

Learning Outcome:                       

Having the capability to make hard news, features, opinion/editorial, and academic articles

- 5W+1H, Impartial principle, inverted pyramid (Hardnews)

- Story-telling technique, data-based article, persuading public awareness (Softnews/features)

- Pro-Con article, problematization, analysis, and conclusion (Opinion/Editorial)

- Introduction of novelty, body of articles, search for academic journals, and book database (Journal and book).
